Read Across America Day! & Dr. Seuss's Birthday!

March 2nd is 'Read Across America' day, celebrated on Dr. Seuss's birthday! We'll be doing lots of reading and fun Seuss themed activities over here, so I thought I'd post a few printables to go along with our theme for the day! 


Horton Writing Prompt - I got the idea to build this printable from a craft I saw over at www.fun-in-first.blogspot.com, she's got some great teaching ideas over there!


Easy Word Rhyming Sort - Cut apart the words and sort into rhyming piles.


'Cat in the Hat' - Hats to Color or Write On (with a few ideas for use)
